Wake Up Your HandsSensory5 minRub, tap, and shake your hands to wake up your body through your fingertips.
Steps
- Hold your hands up in front of you. We're going to wake them up! First, rub your palms together really fast. Faster! Faster! Feel them getting warm?
- Now press your warm hands on your cheeks. Oooh, warm! Rub your palms together again and press them on the back of your neck. Warm!
- Tap all ten fingertips on your desk like rain falling. Start slow. Now faster! Now REALLY fast like a thunderstorm! Now slow down to a gentle drizzle.
- Shake your hands out like you just washed them and there are no paper towels. Shake shake shake! Higher! Now lower! Now behind your back!
- Stop. Hold your hands still in your lap. Feel the tingling in your fingers? That's blood flowing and nerves waking up. Your hands just woke up your whole body. Take a breath — you're awake!
